Online Safety

Dear Parent/Guardian

We have been asked by parents to help raise awareness of safety and bullying online. As a school we are increasingly have to manage the fall out from inappropriate use of the internet and particularly Social Media. The school is very limited in what it can do to manage these issues which happen outside of school and often parents are unsure of how they can keep children safe from harm online.

Below are two useful help sheets from the NSPCC and Childnet which may help you to keep your child safe online. Also included is a link to the NSPCC Online safety webpage, simply click on the link to access their excellent help page.

This link will take you to the Childline website on Cyber bullying and how to manage this risk
