During the last week of term, pupils from Year 7, 8 and 9 took part in Ysgol Gyfun Emlyn’s very own Spelling Bee. Each form group held a class competition and the four finalists battled it out in front of the whole year group. Iona Seymour-Byrne (Year 7) and Kieran Pickover (Year 8) won a Fire HD 7 but Morgan Mason (Year 9) was the overall champion of champions and she won a Fire HD 8 Tablet. The English Department would like to congratulate everyone for taking part and we look forward to holding another Spelling Bee next year!
