Welsh Baccalaureate – Syria Appeal

As part of the Welsh Baccalaureate Community Challenge, we (10G) are carrying out an appeal to help refugees fleeing the Syria Crisis. We have been working hard to raise awareness of the plight of refugees by presenting in assembly, making posters and visiting form rooms.

In conjunction with Clynfyw Care Farm, we are collecting items to be sent out to the areas around Syria including dried and tinned food, blankets and sanitary products.

Lists of appropriate items have been given out to pupils and items can be brought in to hand in during morning registration in form rooms or can be handed into reception. We will also be spending a day helping out at Clynfyw Care Farm and are busy arranging fund-raising events to be carried out during the summer term.
