On a warm, sunny Thursday in early July Ysgol Gyfun Emlyn held a very successful Sports Day. Participation levels were high with many pupils aiming to win the coveted Year group prize and also gain valuable points for their respective houses. Pupils were treated to a record breaking attempt by Welsh athlete and former Year 11 pupil Jo Worrall in the Discus, but it was Year 10 pupil Fiona Campbell who proved to be the only record breaker of the day. She broke the Discus record by nearly 2 meters recording a throw of 25.09metres. Well done Fiona!
