A team of pupils from Year 12 have represented Carmarthenshire in the Welsh finals of Trading Standards’ Young Consumers of the Year Competition, which quizzed contestants on topics ranging from Europe and travel, Money, Credit and Finance and Consumer Law. The team of four from Year 12, Mark Ramsey, Liam Webb, Andrew Lemmon and Jack Davies, were beaten in the semi-final of the event which was held at Cardiff City Stadium. As part of the event the pupils received a comprehensive tour of the stadium seeing the changing rooms, hospitality boxes and the security control room. Mr Dylan Williams would like to thank the pupils for their efforts, and commend them on the mature way in which they behaved. The competition is organised nationally by the Trading Standards Institute and locally by the Carmarthenshire Trading Standards Services section.
