Robotics Competition

On Wednesday the 17th of July, Eloise Jackson-Peck, Chloe Whitton and Ernest Richardson-Laurens competed in the Technocamps Robotics Competition held at the University of South Wales campus in Treforest.

The challenge was to design and create a robot which is capable of providing assistance to disaster-struck areas such as war zones, those devastated by natural disasters such as hurricanes, tsunamis, etc. The team came up with an original design for the robot, then developed a prototype ready to present at the competition.

The day also incorporated a LIVE challenge – which involved working together as a team to adapt their program/robot in order to be successful.
