The week before half term a number of Year 7 pupils embarked on a residential excursion to Gwersyll yr Urdd Llangrannog. The week was incredibly successfully in bringing Year 7 pupils together and to improve their confidence in the Welsh language. During the day pupils were involved in activities such as rock climbing, abseiling, skiing and many conquered some fears on the zip wire and high ropes course. Activities which encouraged team building continued into the evening with circus skills, twmpath and the disco amongst the most popular. Pupils and the staff were lucky to experience Llangrannog in glorious sunshine for the entire week which certainly made the muddy obstacle course less dirty than it already was. Pupils returned back to school tired and ready for half term but with new friends and an appreciation for the welsh language and an ability to learn new skills.
