Throughout the course of the year pupils in key stage 4 and year 8 pupils have been undertaking computing sessions run by the ‘Technocamps’ team from Swansea University. On Thursday, 6th February. year 10 and 11 computer science pupils had a day of learning how to write webpages using HTML so that they would be ready for their unit 2 exam.
The latest instalment for year 8 was on Friday 7th February where pupils learnt how to code using the Python programming language. They put their mathematical and problem-solving skills to the test by coding various solutions to perform specific tasks within the software. The pupils thoroughly enjoyed the day and are eagerly looking forward to the next session to be held in the near future.
