Carmarthen School of Art

The year 10 and sixth form photography class had the opportunity to take part in workshops at Carmarthen School of the Arts during their festival of light.

The year 10 students worked in the photographic studio having the chance to experiment with a range of studio lights, learning all about portraiture and the studio environment. This workshop was great fun and all the students really enjoyed using the equipment.

They also had a virtual reality workshop which gave them a valuable insight into the latest developments in photography.  Each student had time to learn and use the software to create a virtual illustration.

The six form had a foundation taster experience resulting in a range of workshops such as fashion, textile, virtual reality and sculpture.

All the students gained a lot from the day and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
