Eight sixth form students were recently invited to meet some new and more established stars of the business world. They had the opportunity to listen to their stories of success and some failure, and share with them the vital lessons that were learned from these ventures. The evening, organised by Menter Bro Dinefwr, was held in Newton House, Llandeilo and aimed to provide the Applied Business A-level students with real life inspiration and first-hand experiences from large multi-million pound organisations, and those operating on a much smaller scale. The pupils had an opportunity to meet and chat with Mr David Hieatt (co-founder of Howies and now Hiut Denim Co.), Mr Ron Jones (Chairman of Tinopolis), the pupils are pictured alongside Mr Adam Amor (founder of Buffoon Film & Media) and Mr Alex Mills (founder of Dynamo Legal and appeared as the first welsh contestant on the BBC’s The Apprentice).
