Again this year we have had a very successful School Eisteddfod, the competition created a fun and exciting atmosphere throughout the day. The overall winners of the day were Iscoed, who also claimed the first prize in the coveted Choir competition. However Gwynionydd were the winners of the offstage homework competition.

Top prizes were won by two girls from year 10, with the Winner of the Chair (Welsh) being announced as Niamh Channon and Kathy Pearse winning English trophy. The presentation of these awards was announced by Caleb Evans, who also came third in the Chair competition. The other pupils that officiated in this ceremony were Harry Williams, Lewis Owen Nunes (Lewis came 2nd in the chair, and 3rd in the trophy), Hannah Godfrey, Scott Lote Williams, Suzie Goldman and Ebba Smart (Ebba came in 2nd for the Trophy).
The trumpet was played by the versatile Sior Boyesen who was also a key contributor to the bands competition.

The school would like to thank Mrs. Liz Den Hartog and Mrs. Margaret Lawson and Mrs. Irene Evans for their fair and wise adjudication, and also to the pupils for their excellent effort and performances.
