Over ninety Year 5 pupils from local primary schools visited the school recently as part of the transition process to secondary school. During their two day visit, the pupils were coached by year 10 pupils completing the community challenge element of their Welsh Baccalaureate qualification. Some of the lessons that were planned and delivered by our pupils included Hockey skills, Cooking and Nutrition, Computer Science, Football skills, Orienteering, Gardening and Survival Skills. Lots of fun and learning was had by all, both those running the activities and those being taught. Thank you to the pupil, Miss McCarthy-Keane and Miss Bowen for their hard work in organising activities.
