The English department have given selected Year 11 students the opportunity to get a head-start on their revision by inviting English guru, Griff Wyatt, in to share his expertise. Revision specialist, Griff Wyatt has been focusing on pupils’ writing skills and helping them develop their characterisation through his creative use of props and costumes. His main message to the pupils is to flesh their characters out by including extra details in their written work. So, who would carry this tea-bag around with them and why? It was questions like this that encouraged Year 11 to develop the detail in their writing and create some truly vivid characters to write about in their English exam. Griff wishes all Year 11 pupils good luck in their exams and is looking forward to hearing about how the pupils performed.
