Tradition! The one word that keeps the world of award winning musical “Fiddler on the Roof” spinning, in this story for the ages exploring feuds, faith and family.  The story follows Tevye, a poor milkman trying to scratch out a simple, pleasant life, while it seems God just won’t let him. As his daughters become involved with men increasingly further from Tevye’s dream of a learned son-in-law and the looming threat of his people being evicted from the village they call home, he must question how much he is willing to bend before he breaks apart from the faith that has he has stood by for so long.

A timeless tale with such classic songs as “Tradition”, “L’Chaim!”, “Matchmaker” and “If I Were a Rich Man”, this Ysgol Gyfyn Emlyn production is set to be one to remember; with a cast young and old, new and experienced, all with a spring in their step and a song in their lungs. Tickets are on sale for pupils during break and lunch time or through the school office on 01239 710447.
