Year 13 pupils completed the ‘Enterprise’ and ‘Working with Others’ elements of their Welsh Baccalaureate, with a trade fair held at the recently refurbished Cawdor Hall facility in the town centre. The event was a culmination of a lot of hard work setting up and running businesses which produced a range of products and services. These included tie dye t-shirts, furniture made using recycled tyres, fire briquettes made using waste sawdust from a local carpenter, crochet hats, fabric crafts and seasonal preserves. Despite the poor weather conditions the pupils had a good turnout of customers and experienced an enjoyable day of sales. The school and pupils would like to thank the hall’s Development Officer Nerys Davies for her help and support.
