On Tuesday, 17th July some of our pupils enjoyed a morning of bushcraft skills as part of their work towards achieving the John Muir Award near Alltcaven Bridge in Pentrecwrt.  The pupils enjoyed a walk on the river bank following the countryside code and through the disused train tunnel.  They also learnt how to safely start and distinguish a camp fire.  The session ended with pupils taking pleasure from toasting and eating marshmallows.
