A group of twelve Year 9 & 10 pupils attended The University of Bristol on Tuesday, 1st May to receive their graduation certificates after participating in the Scholar’s Programme run by the renowned charity The Brilliant Club.

The Scholars Programme is designed to emulate the learning that students experience at highly-selective universities (Russell Group) and to inspire them to work towards a place at one of these institutions. Postdoctoral researchers work with pupils and teachers to deliver programmes of university-style tutorials.

The students were asked to write a 2,000 word essay based on the research of their tutor, Alice Luther a PhD student at Cardiff University on Precision Medicine.

We are delighted that all six students passed and took part in the Graduation Ceremony at Bristol University.
