The department offers a broad range of courses to suit the needs of all learners at both Key Stage 4 and Post-16. Students perform well within the subject, and many past pupils have gone on to study a business related degree at University, or pursue their own business interests.
A range of effective teaching resources, along with educational visits and speakers are used to ensure that pupils find the subject engaging and relevant. The department has developed in recent years to reflect the growing importance of Business Studies in education, and the recognition of the skills that it brings which are sought after by employers.
